The hotel's rooms were small but beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. My single room on the top floor was peacefully quiet despite the busy street outside, and it was larger than expected for Madrid. The service was provided by a genuinely kind staff member from Spain, who was very friendly and worked predominantly during daytime weekday hours. The location was superb with a central position, near public transport and convenient for exploring Madrid. Dining options nearby were plentiful, including various snack bars and restaurants.
